Hydrocarbons
Gasoil
Gasoil is a liquid hydrocarbon of a density of about 832 kg/ m3, composed mainly of kerosenes and used mainly as a fuel in heating and diesel engines.
Diesel
Diesel fuel D2 is the broadest category for the second crude oil distillate. The ultra-low sulfur D2 grades such as GOST 305-82 lower the sulfur content to a maximum of 0.02 percent to reduce sulfur pollutant emissions.
Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel PPM10/EN590 (USLD)
ULSD is a clean burning diesel that contains 97% less sulfur than Low Sulfur Diesel (LSD). ULSD was developed to improve the performance of diesel contaminant control devices that can be damaged by sulfur.
JP54, aviation fuel
Designed for use in aircraft with gas turbine engines. It is colorless in appearance. The most commonly used fuels for commercial aviation are JET A and JET A1 which are produced to a standardized international specification.
Crude oil (REBCO/ESPO)
Petroleum is a homogeneous mixture of organic compounds, mainly water-insoluble hydrocarbons. It is also known as crude oil or simply crude oil.
Petroleum coke
Coke is a solid fuel formed by the distillation of bituminous carbon heated to temperatures of 500 to 1100°C without contact with air. The distillation process involves the coal being cleaned of tar, gasses, and water. This fuel or residue is composed of 90 to 95% carbon.
Biodiesel
This biofuel is a liquid obtained by industrial processes from natural lipids such as vegetable oils or animal fats with or without prior use. It is used in the preparation of total or partial substitutes for petroleum diesel or gas oil obtained from petroleum.
Naphtha
A general term for flammable liquid hydrocarbon mixtures. Labeled naphtha blends have been produced from petroleum distillate natural gas condensates and coal tar and peat.
Urea
A general term for flammable liquid hydrocarbon mixtures. Labeled naphtha blends have been produced from petroleum distillate natural gas condensates and coal tar and peat.
